For immediate release · October 2026 · Gamevato

Drive UP: Together, an online co-op climbing game for 1 to 8 players built on real driving physics, is available in Steam Early Access for Windows PC from October 26, 2026 at 7:30 PM PDT (October 27, 02:30 UTC). The game is developed and published by Gamevato. A free demo is on Steam now.

Up to eight friends drive up the same mountain: thin planks barely wider than the axles, the insides of giant pipes, near-vertical ramps, tilting platforms and swinging obstacles. There are no checkpoints. One bad landing and you are back at the bottom.

Under the hood is a proper driving simulation. Weight shifts forward when you brake, the back end steps out if you are too eager with the throttle, and momentum decides every climb: carry too little and you slide back down, carry too much and you sail clean over the platform you were aiming for.

Every car is a solid object. Players can park across a gap to become a bridge, push a friend over a ledge no single car can clear, or shunt a car that is stuck upside down back onto its wheels. They can also wait until a friend is one wheel from the summit and tap their bumper. Helping and ruining use the same controls.

Key features

  • Real driving physics: weight transfer, suspension and throttle control decide every climb
  • 1–8 player online co-op on one shared mountain
  • Every car is solid: bridge, push, rescue — or betray
  • No checkpoints: fall and you start from the bottom
  • Planks, pipes, near-vertical ramps, tilting platforms and swinging obstacles
  • Car colors, Steam achievements and leaderboards
  • Playable in 30 languages

Early Access

The full climb is playable from the bottom to the finish line. Gamevato plans to keep the game in Early Access for about 12 months and to shape it with players on Discord and Steam. Planned additions include new maps, more cars and new game modes. These are plans, not promises; every update will be posted on Steam.

For streamers and video creators

Streaming and monetized videos of the game are welcome. No embargo. Steam keys for creators and press can be requested through the key request form.
